The Truth Behind the Posts

Farah is a fifteen-year-old Palestinian girl living in a refugee camp in North Lebanon. Like many teenagers, she uses the internet to chat with friends, watch videos, and explore social media — at first, just fun and harmless.
Over time, her online habits started affecting her daily life: procrastination, late nights, less time with family and real-life friends. She also began noticing that not everything she saw online was true — rumours spreading quickly, people arguing over wrong facts, friends making decisions based on unreliable information. She understood that misinformation could influence choices, damage reputations, or cause confusion and fear.
